On 29 july 2015 at the Farm Corcolle of Ernesto and Guido Verbesi, Via Polense Km 23.500 Corcolle (Rome) took place a “Training for Trainers” that were joined by 37 participants, including technicians, researchers and farms owners.

Current Advances of FruitFlyNet, the Real Time Insect Counting (ReTIC) trap, the software application development and results from 2 pilot sites were discussed during the 1st Dissemination Seminar in Israel (ARO).  The Seminar took place on July 8th, 2015 and .was attended by more than 50 scientists, people involved in agricultural extension, faculty and officers from the Plant Protection and Inspection Services of Israel, as well as students of agricultural sciences and general public.

On May 7th, 2015  a "training for farmers" seminar was conducted by the Agricultural Research organization (ARO) of Israel in the project InvasiveFlyNet pilot site in Ein Yahav in Arava.

Trainings/ Seminats "New trends in pest management in orchards", "New trends in pest management in cherry and apple orchards" where organized in Thessaly, Greece during and after the installation of the first e-traps for cherry fly (developed in the framework of the project)  in three large commercial orchards in Agia, Greece.

The first e-traps for cherry fly (developed in the framework of the project) were placed in three large commercial orchards in Agia, Greece during March, 2015. At the same period the team of AUA together with the UTH team developed a detailed Decision Support System (DSS), to precisely determine the risk area and remotely guide the spraying using database and web-services developed by AUA. ReTIC and DSS will be integrated into LAS (Location-Aware Systems) in different crops to drastically reduce pesticide utilization while preserving fruit quality.
